Canyons in Alberta
Alberta is home to some of the most spectacular canyons in North America. There are four major canyons in Alberta – the Ram Falls Canyon, Maligne Canyon, Sunwapta Canyon, and the Grand Canyon of the North. Each of these canyons is unique and offers an amazing experience and views of the surrounding landscape. Ram Falls is the largest of the four and has a drop of over 500 feet. Maligne Canyon is the deepest at over 500 feet and has a variety of waterfalls and rapids. Sunwapta Canyon is the longest and has several cascading waterfalls. The Grand Canyon of the North is the newest of the four and boasts a stunning panoramic view of the area. All of these canyons are a must-see for any visitor to Alberta.
